Meet John White - he's sort of James Bond

Working for a secret organisation, dealing with highly skilled criminals and hiding the truth from the world may take its toll on a man. Not everyone can be James Bond... But John White sort of is. He's tall and fit, staring danger in the face with that special gleam in his eye. Enemies? They'll be caught. Elements? They'll be beaten. His only weakness these days, however, is one teenage boy with a funny name, who John protects like his own life. There are important things on his plate. But Qwerty Seymore is priority. Period.

But who is John White, really? We know very little about him, after all. He's a friend of Mr and Mrs Sandbanks, Angelina's parents. Dressed in jeans, leather jacket and a decent shirt, he looks tough, but also... right. Like he is always supposed to be where he is. Like he'd fit both in the Buckingham Palace and a Canadian shack by the lake. With short, white hair, his arms often crossed on his chest and large, bushy eyebrows, he could almost be Chuck Norris' younger brother... Only more sophisticated. Like he knew and did things you wouldn't even dream of...

As it turns out, John is an important member of a top secret British institution, fighting crimes committed by telekinetics - people who can move objects with their minds. His work, which he usually doesn't mention, constantly puts him at risk. In the first part of Qwerty's adventures, entitled "Qwerty: The History", John falls into his enemies' trap - spending Christmas in hospital seems to be written into his contract, though, as he comes out of it almost unscathed, and in a seemingly good mood.

But can Qwerty really trust John and, most importantly, his bosses? Why is John protecting him? Who are the people John works for? And what is the price Qwertty will eventually have to pay? Some answers and more questions you will find in the above book (available on Amazon and Kindle).

By the way, John White has been delivered to you by an illustrator, Greg Like. He is a journalist, theatre enthusiast, film connoisseur, and a cartoonist slash graphic designer in his spare time (which he hasn't got much, it seems). John is the first character of his that we have the pleasure to meet. More are coming soon.
