Josh Ferguson - a typical bully or a hidden enemy?

He is a bully. The sort of guy who likes taking it out on the weaker kids. He may wear a hoodie and a zero-hair policy on his head. He may be a nasty piece of work. But there is one thing you must give to Josh Ferguson: he is not as stupid as he looks. Contrary to his gang members, this one has a brain, and from time to time uses it, too. But why does he hate the new student at Corfe Hills, Qwerty Seymore, so much? He has no reason for it. No reason whatsoever... Does he need one? Probably not... Or does he?

Josh Ferguson ("Qwerty: The History"). Picture by Greg Like

The new academic year dawns over Corfe Hills Schools in Poole, Southern England, when Qwerty notices a large boy observing him from the crowd. He's no clue who he is, but Qwerty recognises the look immediately: curious and unfriendly. Josh openly stares at the new addition to his scholarly kingdom and very quickly their cold yet fruitful acquaintance starts: Ferguson and his thugs tease both Qwerty and his friends almost to the breaking point.

But why? Is it just a coincidence? Is Ferguson really just a teenage bully who constantly seeks new victims? Or is he an enemy of all other sort...? Whatever the truth, Josh has an important role to play in the story.

More about Josh Ferguson and his bunch of badly behaved and not excessively smart friends you can find in the book entitled "Qwerty: The History". Be prepared, however: the book raises more questions than it answers...

"Qwerty: The History" is now available on Amazon and Kindle. Do not be misled by the title, by the way. History it may be... but in the making.
